We Offer the Insurance Your Salon Needs
Property Insurance
Your salon may not possess all the following types of property, but these are a
few of the standard coverages offered in our Salon & Spa program:
- Buildings and other structures (owned or leased)
- Furniture, equipment and supplies
- Inventory, including hair care and other beauty products
- Improvements and betterments you made to the premises
- Computers and Point of Sale Machines
- Mobile property such as scissors and electric clippers
- Signs, fences, and other outdoor property not attached to a building
- Leased equipment
Beauticians Liability Insurance
No business can afford to be unprepared for a lawsuit. Beauticians liability insurance
protects your business assets when the salon is sued for something you did (or failed
to do) that contributed to injury or property damage to someone else. Liability
coverage extends not only to paying damages but also to the attorneys’ fees and
other costs involved in defending against the lawsuit—whether valid or not.
Product Liability
If your shop sells shampoo and other items, you have a secondary liability exposure.
Our program includes product liability coverage for any salon or spa involved in
product sales. Also important - if you in any way alter the products you receive
from manufacturers for resale (soaps, gels or other cleansing products), you have
a primary liability exposure. You are the first liable party. General liability
insurance won't cover this particular exposure, so you need to secure product liability
coverage. Recognize, too, that your product liability policy will pay defense costs,
whether or not a judgment is rendered against you.
